Singh highlighted that the scheme was further revised in the current year, resulting in disbursements of ₹8,413 crore to over 17 lakh pensioners. Additionally, strides have been made to ensure a more inclusive and equitable environment within the armed forces, including the groundbreaking induction of women officers into the Artillery Regiment.
