Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha tied the knot in a beautiful Sunday ceremony. What added an enchanting touch to their wedding was a special song titled “O Piya,” a heartfelt rendition by the talented actress-singer herself.
Parineeti Chopra, known not just for her acting prowess but also for her melodious voice, has often shared her singing talent through videos. In preparation for her marriage to Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha, she recorded the soulful track “O Piya.” This beautiful song became a highlight of their wedding ceremony.
The enchanting “O Piya” was played during Parineeti and Raghav's wedding at The Leela Palace in Udaipur on September 24. This musical masterpiece was composed by Gaurav Dutta, with lyrics penned by Gaurav Dutta, Sunny MR, and Harjot Kaur. Some of the heartfelt lyrics go as follows: “O piya, o piya, chal chalein. Baat lein gham-khushi, saath mein (Oh sweetheart, let us go. Let's share our sorrows and joy).”
The wedding was an intimate affair attended by close friends and family, held at The Leela Palace in Udaipur. Notably, Parineeti's cousin, the renowned actress Priyanka Chopra, was unable to attend but extended her warm wishes to the newlyweds on Instagram, welcoming Raghav Chadha into the family.
In addition to the wedding ceremony, Parineeti and Raghav hosted a reception in Udaipur, which saw the presence of prominent figures like Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, and former tennis player Sania Mirza, among others.
Following the festivities in Udaipur, the couple arrived in Delhi the next day. It was initially reported that they would host a wedding reception in Chandigarh for their close ones, followed by receptions in Delhi and Mumbai.
However, according to a recent report by ETimes, the receptions in Chandigarh and Delhi have been canceled. Instead, Parineeti and Raghav will be celebrating with their friends in Mumbai at a grand reception on October 4.
The newlyweds shared their official wedding photos through a joint Instagram post, expressing their love story from the very first chat at the breakfast table to this momentous day.
Parineeti looked stunning in a champagne and cream Manish Malhotra lehenga, while Raghav donned an elegant cream sherwani set. The couple had gotten engaged in Delhi on May 13, marking the beginning of their beautiful journey together as Mr. and Mrs.
