Himanshi Khurana Ends Relationship: Religious Differences Cited
Love stories often begin with a spark and fizzle out with time. This seems to be the case for Himanshi Khurana and Asim Riaz, who recently announced their breakup after a four-year relationship. The news came through an official statement shared by Khurana on her Instagram Stories on December 6.
The couple, who first crossed paths in the Bigg Boss 13 house, where Khurana joined as a wild card contestant, had captured the audience's hearts with their romance. However, as fate would have it, the journey of their relationship has reached its endpoint. In her heartfelt message, Himanshi cited ‘different religious beliefs' as the reason for their decision to part ways.
“When we tried… but we could not find a solution for our life… You still love each other, but luck is not supporting happily ever after,” she expressed on her Instagram Stories. Additionally, an official statement posted on her account stated, “YES, we are not together anymore. All the time we have spent together has been great, but our togetherness comes to an end now.”
Respecting each other's religions, they have decided to sacrifice their love for the sake of their individual beliefs. The message conveyed a plea for privacy, with Himanshi emphasizing, “We have nothing against each other. No hate, only love. That's called a mature decision.”
Himanshi Khurana, a familiar face on Salman Khan's reality show Bigg Boss 13, had entered the limelight with her previous relationship with Chow. Post-Bigg Boss, she revealed the end of that nine-year-long relationship.
Since 2020, she had been romantically involved with Asim Riaz, her co-contestant from the reality show. The duo even collaborated on four songs in 2020 — Kalla Sohna Nai, Afsos Karoge, Khyaal Rakheya Kar, and Dil Ko Maine Di Kasam.
The announcement of their breakup leaves fans with mixed emotions, but as mature individuals, Himanshi and Asim are choosing to move forward separately. Love may have its highs and lows, but understanding and respect can make parting ways a graceful journey.
