In a stunning display of talent, India's shooting contingent, comprised of Divyansh Singh Panwar, Rudrankkash Balasaheb Patil, and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, secured a new world record and clinched the gold medal in the men's 10 air rifle team event. Srihari Nataraj earned a spot in the men's 50m backstroke final by finishing sixth in the heats with a time of 25.43 seconds. Likith Selvaraj also qualified for the 100m men's breaststroke final, clocking in at 1 minute and 1.98 seconds. Unfortunately, Maana Patel did not qualify for the women's 50m backstroke final, while Anand AS and Vikram Khade fell short of making it to the men's 50m freestyle final.
Tennis Challenges
Yuki Bhambri and Rohan Bopanna faced an unexpected defeat in the men's doubles second round against Uzbekistan's Sergey Fomin and Khumoyun Sultanov. Meanwhile, Ankita Raina secured victory in the women's singles second round against Uzbek Sabrina Olimjonova.
Cricket Gold
