Aamir Khan's new Project “Lahore 1947” Starring Sunny Deol

Aamir Khan has recently made an exciting announcement about his upcoming project as a producer. His renowned production company, Aamir Khan Productions (AKP), is all set to back Raj Kumar Santoshi's next film, titled “Lahore, 1947.” The news broke when Aamir took to the Instagram account of his production company to share the details.

In a surprising twist, Aamir Khan won't be playing the lead role in the movie. Instead, he will be producing it. The film will feature the immensely talented Sunny Deol in the lead role, marking the first-ever collaboration between Aamir Khan and Sunny Deol. Additionally, it will be directed by the accomplished director Raj Kumar Santoshi.

Aamir expressed his enthusiasm for this project in his Instagram post, stating, “I, and the entire team at AKP, are most excited and happy to announce our next, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, titled Lahore, 1947. We look forward to collaborating with the immensely talented Sunny and one of my favorite directors, Raj Santoshi. The journey we have embarked on promises to be the most enriching. We seek your blessings, A.”

Fans of both Aamir Khan and Sunny Deol were thrilled about this exciting collaboration. They expressed their excitement on social media, with one fan saying, “Wow! It's definitely going to be a blockbuster movie! Waiting for it.” Another fan enthusiastically added, “Ab aayega maja (this will be fun)… Make it to 1000 Crore…at any cost. We will support Sunny Deol.” Some fans even speculated if the film might be based on Khushwant Singh's novel “Train to Pakistan,” although there isn't much information available about the plot at this point.

Aamir Khan's last release was “Laal Singh Chadha,” which didn't perform exceptionally well at the box office but garnered appreciation when it became available on Netflix. The film also starred Kareena Kapoor and was a Hindi adaptation of the popular Hollywood film “Forrest Gump.”

On the other hand, Sunny Deol is basking in the success of his recent release, “Gadar 2.” The film achieved remarkable success, grossing over ₹525 crore at the box office. For a brief moment, it even held the title of the highest-grossing Hindi film in India, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan's “Pathan.” However, Shah Rukh Khan's latest release, “Jawan,” reclaimed the top spot just a day later.

In summary, Aamir Khan's production company AKP is set to produce the film “Lahore, 1947,” with Sunny Deol as the lead actor and Raj Kumar Santoshi as the director. This collaboration has generated immense excitement among fans, and they are eagerly awaiting more details about the film's storyline.
