Who is Monu Manesar – Bajrang Dal Member Linked to Nuh Violence

Monu Manesar, also known as Mohit Yadav, is a prominent figure associated with the cow vigilante wing of Bajrang Dal in Haryana. He gained attention and notoriety due to his alleged involvement in the abduction and murder of two Muslim men in Bhiwani district in February.

The victims, Junaid and Nasir, were found dead inside a charred vehicle, and their families accused members of the Bajrang Dal of being responsible for the crime. However, Manesar has refuted any involvement in the killings, and the Bajrang Dal has denied the charges.

Monu Manesar has been an influential personality in the region, and pictures of him alongside police officials and bureaucrats have surfaced in the past. He also had a YouTube channel that showcased the activities of the cow vigilante group, especially their efforts to catch cow smugglers.

Reportedly, Monu Manesar holds a polytechnic diploma and joined the Bajrang Dal during his second year of college. He has been on the run after the incident in Bhiwani and was rumored to be attending a religious procession organized by the Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad in Nuh, which allegedly triggered the communal violence resulting in the death of two policemen and injuries to around 200 people.
