Hirsh Vardhan Singh: 2024 US President with Trump-Style Appeal
Indian American Hirsh Vardhan Singh has officially announced his candidacy for the 2024 US Presidential race as a Republican candidate. He joins a crowded field that includes other Indian Americans, such as former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, who is also seeking the Republican nomination.
In a video posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), Singh declared himself a lifelong Republican and a staunch advocate of conservative values, aligning himself with the “America First” agenda championed by former President Donald Trump. He highlighted his efforts to restore the conservative wing of the New Jersey Republican Party.
Singh criticized the influence of Big Tech and pharmaceutical companies, accusing them of corrupt practices that infringe on Americans' freedoms. He also expressed concern about attacks on family values, parental rights, and open debates, emphasizing the need for strong leadership to reverse these changes and restore American values.
As an engineer with a political background in New Jersey, Singh acknowledged his previous unsuccessful attempts to run for various offices. However, he presented himself as a “pure blood” Republican, showcasing his unwavering support for Donald Trump and the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement since its inception.
Singh pointed out his long-standing involvement in the Young Americans for Liberty during his university days and highlighted recent activities opposing policies that could lead to another world war, fighting against economic lockdowns, and organizing protest rallies against compulsory vaccinations.
He proudly stated that he is the “only pure-blood candidate for president” due to his refusal to succumb to Covid vaccinations. He even mentioned being compared to “Trump on steroids” by the New Jersey Senate president, underlining his commitment to assertive and decisive leadership.
On a recent Thursday, Singh formally submitted his candidature to the Federal Election Commission, solidifying his position as a contender in the Republican primaries.
It remains to be seen how his campaign will unfold and whether he can garner enough support to secure the Republican nomination for the 2024 US Presidential election.
